SURFACE PREPARATION

The service life span and the service performance of this product are directly related to the degree of surface preparation.

The surface to be over coated must be dry and free from debris before commencement of coating.

Dry brushing should be done to remove dirt and dust. A fresh water wash is recommended.

New concrete should be left for at least 21 days to cure before coating.

The moisture content of the concrete surface should be checked and ensured to be below 6% when measured with a reliable moisture meter, such as the Sovereign Moisture Meter.

Contaminated concrete surfaces are best cleaned by brushing with an active cleaner like ‘MRO 2006 – Non Chlorinated Kleaner’.

Moisture penetration from below (ground water) will impair proper.

APPLICATION

Roller or Brush : These are the recommended methods of application.

Stir contents of the can thoroughly before use. Thinning is not required.

Sprinkle the glass beads by manually over the coating before drying the coating.

Remove lining tape directly after having applied paint.

Apply only when the air and surface temperatures are between 10-38°C and the surface temperature is at least 3°C above the dew.

The relative humidity should not be greater than 85%.

Extremely high or low relative humidity can effect dry times and the final gloss of the coating.

18 months if kept in a dry condition at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C in the original unopened containers. If stored at high temperatures the shelf life may be reduced.

All used and unused product should be disposed of in accordance with state regulations.
