REFRACTORY KOTE (1500°C) – MRO 3008
‘MRO 3008 – REFRACTORY KOTE (1500°C) is a Off White colored single-part, Monocline Zirconium Oxide coating that produces a hard, oxidation resistant coating on carbon and stainless steel and a range of refractory metals including molybdenum, platinum, rhodium, and titanium to 1500ºC.

Directions of Use
Surface Preparation
Surface to be coated must be structurally sound, dry free from loose material. All surface contamination must be removed. Grease and oil should be grit blasted or water jetted. Deeper penetration must be removed by mechanical means.
Mixing
Product is in dry mix powder form, add liquid component to it approx. 300ml to 1kg MRO 3008 REFRACTORY KOTE. Mix them till homogenous slurry like consistency is achieved and must be free from the lumps. Adjust the water amount to suit your application need. The mixed material should be consumed within 120 minutes.
Application Instructions:
Apply by Brush/spray/trowel on the surface to a desired thickness within 120 minutes of mixing.

Handling
General
Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid continuous breathing of vapour and spray mist. In closed areas or areas with poor ventilation, use respiratory protection. For complete details on safety, short and long term exposure, refer to this product’s safety data sheet (SDS).
Shelf Life
12 months if kept in a dry, air conditioned in the original, unopened containers.
Disposal
All used and unused product should be disposed of in accordance with state regulations.
