‘MRO 3013 – HT KOTE’ is a silicone epoxy modified heat resistant coating till 610°C (ALU) The corrosion protection of high heat areas associated with high temperature is the perennial problem to the Industry. ‘MRO 3013 – HT KOTE’ range High Temperature Coatings protect the steel structural against atmospheric corrosion and under insulation corrosion up to 610°C. The excellent resistance to thermal shock as a result of rapid temperature cycling, extend life expectancy of assets.

Directions of Use
Surface Preparation
Surface to be coated must be structurally sound, dry, free from loose material. All surface contamination must be removed. Grease and oil should be grit blasted or water jetted. Deeper penetration must be removed by mechanical means.
Mixing
Contents of Part A should be thoroughly stirred to disperse any settlement which may take place during storage. If necessary adjust the viscosity by adding up to 5% epoxy thinner.
Application Instructions:
By Brush
Apply by Brush/spray/trowel on the surface to a desired thickness within 120 minutes of mixing.
Handling
General
Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid continuous breathing of vapour and spray mist. In closed areas or areas with poor ventilation, use respiratory protection. For complete details on safety, short and long term exposure, refer to this product’s safety data sheet (SDS).
Shelf Life
24 months if kept in a dry, air conditioned in the original, unopened containers.
Disposal
All used and unused product should be disposed of in accordance with state regulations.
