RUST CONVERTER – MRO 3030

1. No more scraping or sandblasting. Simply remove loose rust and then apply the product.
2. Neutralizes Rust and converts it to a tough black primer in one easy step.
3. Prevents Future Rusting. Seals out moisture and other outside elements.
4. Fast Drying. The second coat can be applied in 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Excellent Primer. Treated surfaces can be painted over with an oil-based paint.

Apply only when temperatures are between 12°C and 45°C. Remove dirt, grease, oil, and other contaminants

Remove blistered or loose paint and loose rust scale

The use of rubber gloves is recommended

Shake and stir well before using

Pour the estimated amount needed into a clean container

Material cannot be returned to the original container after use. For maximum penetration, work product into rusted surfaces with a synthetic bristle brush.

For large areas, use a roller or an airless sprayer. Apply a 2nd coat soon after the first coat has dried (20-30 minutes). Apply in a cross direction of the 1st coat.  For best results, apply 2 thin coats.

Allow a minimum of 24 hours cure time before painting over with a finish coat.

Clean all painting equipment immediately after use with warm water and mild detergent.

Apply by Brush/spray/trowel on the surface to a desired thickness within 120 minutes of mixing.

Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid continuous breathing of vapor and spray mist. In closed areas or areas with poor ventilation, use respiratory protection. For complete details on safety and short and long-term exposure, refer to this product’s safety data sheet (SDS).

24 months if kept in a dry, air-conditioned in the original, unopened containers.

All used and unused product should be disposed of in accordance with state regulations.
